The mosque was built about four years ago by Alhaji Maruf Chambers, the proprietor of Smart Brain International School. The mosque has a worshipper-intake capacity of 150. The mosque also has an Islamic Education School (Madrassa) called Khalaqatu Imam Malik.

The mosque is led by Sheikh Sultan Mohammed Khamis. Sheikh Sultan Mohammed Khamis started his Primary Education and completed his Secondary Education in Agona Nyakrom in the Central Region of Ghana. He left for Kumasi to further his Quran and Arabic education for nearly 12 years. He relocated to Kasoa in the year 2008 where he led one mosque called Masjidul Rahma for about 5 years.
