Sheikh Salman Mohammed Alhassan was appointed the Chief Imam of Madina West and Its Environs and the Resident Imam of the AL-WA’AYUL ISLAMIE CENTRE/MOSQUE in June 2020 following the passing of the late Sheikh Yunus Ibrahim in April 2020. He doubles as the Chief Imam of Ashiyie-Fulani Community and its Environs. He also has an Oversight responsibility as the Imam of Al-Hashim 2000 Mosque in Adabraka, Accra. He is an Eminent Member of the National Peace Council of Ghana, and currently the Chairman of National Representative Assembly of Ahlu Sunna Wal-Jama, Ghana. Internationally,Sheikh Salman Alhassan belongs to the Union of African Muslim Scholars as an Eminent Member. He also belongs to the League of the World Muslim Scholars.
